Labor Day Resolutions - the new New Year’s Day
Whether you have kids in school or not, it seems that life begins anew after Labor Day.
The summer’s over. The kids are back in school. Every car is back on the road. And we resolve to form new habits and make them stick - this time. Unfortunately, they often don’t stick and sometime mid-fall we decide that January 1st is a good time to start anew - again.
In our Fitness Through Empowerment Seminar, we talk about the 3 things you need to have to make a successful life change:
- Belief that you can make the change
- The right technology to make the change
- Follow Through

The follow through is where most people fall short. If you’ve decided to incorporate a new habit, persistence is the key. Repeating an activity every day for 21 days will make it a habit. That’s 21 days in a row!!!
Those 21 days are the problem and there’s no better way to force the habit than with some strong support. Hire a trainer, find a workout partner, join a class or enroll in a group program.
