I had the opportunity to work with Blue Star Fitness for 12 weeks. It was been a truly eye-opening, wonderful, and life changing experience. I have been empowered to live a healthy active life that will allow me to be a role model for my child. I love to eat. But I am now able to listen to my body when it comes to food. I’m able to watch what I eat without counting. I cut out some of the unhealthy foods such as soft drinks and limited other foods but I still get to eat desert! I learned that I don’t have to get down on myself for eating a piece of chocolate cake but to be positive and just continue to eat healthy the rest of the week because in the long run I can win. I have a library of strength training, stability, coordination, and stretch exercises and have learned to create my own custom workouts. I understand where I should be feeling “it” so that I know I’m doing a move correctly. I can incorporate my exercise routine into my daily life without spending hours at a gym.
